HOWLEY Jeanne (Ruel) of Dedham and Mattapoisett, took the Lord’s hand on November 2nd, 2018. She was surrounded by her loving family at home. Beloved wife of her late husband Thomas J. Howley. Devoted mother of Jeanne M. Paparazzo. Loving and proud grandmother to Ashley, Allison, Thomas, and Emma Paparazzo.
Jeanne was born on May 10, 1930 and raised in Dedham. In her early life she worked at Rustcraft writing books and cards. Later, she worked as office manager at Dedham Insurance Agency. She spent her summers in her home in Mattapoisett, which was her favorite place.
Jeanne was preceded in death by her mother Mary Frances (Mahoney) Ruel and father Edme Ruel. She is survived by her brother Charles Ruel. Sister of the late Edward Ruel Sr., Lillian Empey and Margaret Conlon.
She was known for her compassionate caring spirit in which she shared with anyone who was blessed to have known her.
Visiting hours at the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home 456 High St. Dedham on Tuesday, Nov. 6th from 5-8pm. Funeral from the funeral home on Wednesday, Nov. 7th at 9am, followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Mary’s Church, Dedham at 10am. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Interment Brookdale Cemetery, Dedham.
