Addison F. Russell, 87, of New Bedford died November 1, 2018 at Charlton Memorial Hospital.
He was the husband of the late Louise M. (Hainault) Russell.
Born in New Bedford, son of the late Elmer and Mary (Lamb) Russell, he lived in Acushnet most of his life before returning to New Bedford.
Mr. Russell was formerly employed by Revere Copper & Brass for many years until his retirement. He later was involved in Brand Iron Steakhouse and Orange Julius franchises.
He was a member of the Knights of Columbus in Fairhaven.
Survivors include his daughter, Judith Russell and her husband Timothy Lyden of Dartmouth; a grandson, Hunter Russell; 2 nieces and 2 nephews.
He was the brother of the late Dawn Bruce.
His Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, November 6th at 11 AM in the Saunders-Dwyer Home For Funerals, 495 Park St. New Bedford. His family will receive guests on Tuesday morning from 9:30-11 AM prior to his service. Burial will follow in the Acushnet Cemetery.
