Obituary

DARDINSKI, Henry Walter Of Sarasota Florida, formerly of Dedham and Plymouth, October 3l, 2018. Husband of the late Stella (Dawyskiba) Dardinski. Loving father of Steven Dardinski (Maureen) of Sarasota FL, and Madelyn Meagher (George) of Trumbull, CT. Grandfather of Alex, Patrick, Helen, Elizabeth, Christian, and Michael, and six great-grandchildren.

Born in Boston, Henry was the son of the late Leon and Alexandra (Norkowska) Dardzinski. He was the last of their children to pass and is survived by many nieces and nephews.

Henry proudly joined the Navy in 1942 and served in the Submarine Service on the USS Peto and Tang. After an honorable discharge in 1946, he studied at Northeastern University, earning a BBA in Management and a law degree from Suffolk University. He passed the Mass. Bar in 1960 and practiced before the Mass. Supreme Judicial Court, the US District Court, the US Court of Appeals, and the US Supreme Court. He retired as Senior House Council for American Mutual Insurance Company in 1982. Moving to Edgewater, Florida, he and Stella became very active members of Sacred Heart Parish and St. Gerard's Mission Church.

Henry was a member of the Mass. Lawyer's Bar Association, American Legion Post 17, New Smyrna Beach Florida, US Submarine Vets Inc., and US Submarine Vets WWII where he served as Parliamentarian.

Funeral from the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home, 456 High St., DEDHAM, Saturday Nov. 10 at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Mary's Church, Dedham, at 10am. Relatives and Friends kindly invited. Visiting hours at the funeral home Friday Nov. 9 from 7-9pm. Interment in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Boston.
