Jason P. Mastorakis, age 43, passed away on Oct. 30, 2018. He was born on Dec. 8, 1974 in Springfield. Jason worked as a field engineer for Chicopee Electric Light Department for many years. He was a graduate of Chicopee Comprehensive High School, Class of 1993. Jason loved music and was a drummer for the band NoSho. He was very athletic and loved going to the gym. He played golf, soccer, track and field and when he wasn’t playing sports he was coaching his sons in basketball, baseball, soccer and golf. Jason was well known for all of his side work he did. He loved helping people and doing projects. He is survived by his loving wife Danielle (Shaw) Mastorakis of Chicopee; his daughter Ava Mastorakis and 2 step-sons Landin Shaw and Cayden Shaw all of Chicopee; his father Doug P. Mastorakis and his step-mom Waneta of Holyoke; his mother Deborah Tozier and her partner John Dion of Chicopee; 2 brothers Jesse Lengieza and his wife Wendy of Chicopee and Brandon Mastorakis of Chicopee; 2 nieces Faith and Isabel Mastorakis along with many friends who will miss him dearly. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, Nov.4, 2018 from 3:00- 6:00 PM at the Grise` Funeral Home, 280 Springfield St, Chicopee. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
