Dennis C. Leveille, age 70, of Norton, passed away in the presence of his loving family on Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brocton. He was the beloved husband of Linda J. Leveille, to whom he was wed for past forty-eight years.
Born in Easthampton, MA on October 19, 1948, he was a loving son of the late Henry Z. and Rita M. (Powers) Leveille.
Dennis grew up in Springfield and was a graduate of Cathedral High School in Springfield. He attended Northeastern University and proudly served his country as a member of the United States Navy during the Vietnam War.
Prior to retiring, Mr. Leveille had worked for the Raytheon Corporation, a career that spanned over twenty-five years. At the time of his retirement he was employed as a research technician at the companies North Andover plant.
A resident of Norton for over thirty years, Dennis coached both little league baseball and soccer in Norton for many years. The essence of his life was spending time with his adoring family and he enjoyed the simple pleasures of spending time at home and engaging in projects around the house.
In addition to his beloved wife, he is survived by his devoted sons: Shawn W. Leveille and his wife Teresa and Bryan H. Leveille. He was the cherished grandfather of Olivia Leveille. He was the dear brother of the late Richard Leveille and is also survived by 1 niece and 2 nephews.
His funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 8th at 11:00 A.M. at the Norton Memorial Funeral Home, 19 Clapp St. (Off Route 140, Taunton Ave.) Norton.
Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, November 7th from 5:00-8:00 P.M. at the Norton Memorial Funeral Home.
