Gale “Dusty” W. Dustin, 82, of Plum Island, MA, formerly of Derry, NH, passed away on October 31, 2018 at Catholic Medical Center of Manchester, NH, from complications following open heart surgery. He was the son of the late Clinton B. Sr., and Stella (Teague) Dustin.
Dusty loved playing golf with his many golfing friends. He was a member of the
Londonderry Country Club. He also enjoyed fishing, his vegetable garden and doing his “Wonder Word” books. Dusty worked at Spacetown Autobody for 40 years before retiring to Plum Island.
Members of the family include his wife of 53 years, Linda (Soucy) Dustin, his daughters, Susan Fleming and her husband Rob, Jane Dustin and Karen Cunningham and her husband David, Three grandchildren, Jill Dustin, Lauren Cunningham and Chase Cunningham, He is also survived by his brothers, Marlow, Paul and David Dustin and sisters, Lois Sutton, and Beth Denault as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by four siblings, Clinton and George Dustin and Jackie Melvin and Hannah Rufler.
Calling hours were Saturday November 10, 2018 from 10 am to 12 pm at the Peabody Funeral homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch Street Derry. A memorial service followed at 12:00 pm in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of ones choice.
