Annie E. Bienvenue, 103, of Manchester, NH, passed away Wednesday October 31, 2018 in Holy Cross Healthcare Center in Manchester. She was born in Candia, NH on August 20, 1915, a daughter of the late Maurice and Emma (Bennett) Critchet. She had been a resident of Manchester for several years, formerly living in Londonderry, NH since 1936. She had worked in the shoe manufacturing business for many years. She operated Yvette's Coffee Shop in Manchester for 6 years. She also worked in the Londonderry School System in the lunch program. She was a founding member of St. Jude Parish in Londonderry where she served on the Women's Guild.
She is survived by three sons, David Bienvenue and wife Elaine of Londonderry, Bruce Bienvenue and wife Gloria Jean of Newton, WV, and Leonard Bienvenue, Jr. and wife Jacqueline of Warner, NH; one daughter, Beverly Messier of Londonderry, one daughter in law, Mary Bienvenue of Bath, NH, 16 grandchildren, as well as many great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Leonard A. Bienvenue in 1976 and son, Roger Bienvenue in June 2018.
Calling hours were held on Monday November 5, 2018 from 4 – 8pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Road, Londonderry. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Tuesday, November 6th at 10:00am in St. Jude parish, 435 Mammoth Road, Londonderry. Burial followed in Holy Cross Cemetery in Londonderry. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Holy Cross Health Care Center, 357 Island Pond Road, Manchester, NH 03109.
