Thomas J. Tracy, IV passed away peacefully at Care Dimensions Hospice in Lincoln. He was 51. Raised in Charlestown, Tom graduated from Christopher Columbus High School and later worked as a carpenter before becoming a longshoreman, the third generation of his family to do so. He was a member of Longshoreman’s Union 799. A quiet and decent man, he was devoted to his wife of 32 years and to his loving sons. He enjoyed his work, spending time at golf and being at home with his family and friends.
The beloved husband of Shannon (Schurko) Tracy with whom he shared 32 years of marriage, he was a devoted and loving father to Thomas J. Tracy V and his wife Rachel of Medford, Collin Tracy and his partner Nicole Sullivan of Stoneham. He was the dear son of Constance (Hogan) Tracy of Everett and the late Thomas, III. He was a dear brother to James Tracy and his fiancée Kim McMaster and Tricia Tracy-Lyons and her husband Christopher. Tom was a devoted son-in-law of Frances Schurko and is also survived by many dear brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are respectfully invited to visit at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, on Sunday, November 4th from 4 thru 8 PM. A funeral service will be celebrated Monday morning in the funeral home at 10 AM followed by burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
