Francisco “Frankie” Gonzalez, age 31, of Taunton, passed away un expectedly at home on Saturday, October 27, 2018, two day prior to his 32nd birthday.
Born in Aibonito, Puerto Rico on October 29, 1986, he was a loving son of Jennie Martinez and Jorge Quinones of Taunton and Francisco Gonzalez of Puerto Rico.
Frankie’s family moved to the United States when he was five-years old. He first lived in Brockton and later moved to Taunton where he was educated and had resided for the past twenty-one years.
Francisco’s most recent job had been as a cashier at Seasons Corner Market and Gas Station in Raynham and had previously been employed for area landscaping companies. He was an adoring father to his three sons and loved spending time with his cherished family. Frankie enjoyed listening to music and dancing and will always be remembered for his remarkable sense of humor.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his loving sons: Davontea Gonzalez of East Taunton, Francisco Gonzalez, Jr. of East Taunton and Noah Gonzalez of Wareham. He was the dear brother of Damaris Gonzalez of Taunton, Rosemary Alicea of Taunton, Jennifer Martinez of Taunton, Angelique Martinez of Taunton and Manuel Franco of Taunton. He was the devoted uncle of Melanna Franco and Yelanna Franco, and is also survived by his loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
His funeral service, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be held on Wednesday, November 7th at 11:00 A.M. at the Taunton Funeral Home, 8 Crapo St. (Off Route 140, Tremont St.) Taunton. Burial will follow at Mayflower Hill Cemetery in Taunton.
Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, November 6th from 5:00-8:00 P.M. at the Taunton Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Francisco’s memory may be made to a fund to benefit his children. A location for contributions to be sent will be announced.
