TEWKSBURY - Gail Ann (DiFoggio) Spencer, age 60, of Lowell, formerly of Tewksbury, a devoted mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister died Sunday, October 28, at Mass General Hospital in Boston after a courageous long battle with Kidney Disease.
Gail was born in December, 1957, a daughter of Joan M. (Broadbridge) DiFoggio of Tewksbury and the late Peter Michael DiFoggio, also of Tewksbury. She graduated from Tewksbury Memorial High School with the Class of 1976.
She was lovingly described as a “stay at home” mother who devoted her life to her family and had a special bond with her beloved grandchildren Nathan, Deanna, Leeana, and Jaxton.
Besides her mother and grandchildren, she leaves four children, Paul “P.J.” Spencer and his spouse Hollie Melanson of Dracut, John Spencer and his spouse Diana Santiago of Lowell, Brooke Spencer and her spouse Rodney Camire of Lowell, and Bridget Spencer of Dracut; a brother Peter Michael DiFoggio of Tewksbury; a sister, Lisa Gagnon of Tewksbury; many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; and was predeceased by her husband, John Richard “Jack” Spencer.
Memorial Visiting Hours Thursday, November 8, from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. in the Tewksbury Funeral Home, corner of 1 Dewey and 975 Main Sts. (Rte. 38) TEWKSBURY CENTER, Ph. (800 in MA or 978) 851 2950.
