Cathy Ann Bouchard, 53, of Derry, NH, passed away Sunday October 28th, 2018, surrounded by her family at Southern NH Medical Center in Nashua, NH, after a courageous battle with cancer. Cathy was born June 15th, 1965 in Lowell, MA and was a daughter of Therese (Dube) Desrosiers and the late Robert Desrosiers. She was raised and educated in Dracut, MA and has been a resident of Derry for the past 30 years.
Cathy graduated from Northern Essex Community College and worked as an office assistant in a law firm before being employed for many years as the Administrative Assistant for the family contracting business. Cathy loved the beach and doing whatever her husband Dave wanted to do. She will forever be known for her loving devotion to her entire family.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband of 29 years, David R. Bouchard, her daughters, Meaghan and Rebecca Bouchard, both of Derry, her brothers, Robert and Mark Desrosiers and sister Linda Morin. She was also the beloved sister-in-law of Catherine & Paul Rousselle, Donna & Ken McGuire, Steven & Denise Bouchard and Michelle & Kerry Rourke, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours were held Thursday November 1, 2018 from 5 to 8 pm at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch Street. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Friday at 10:00 am at St. Thomas of Aquinas Catholic Church in Derry. The burial was in Forest Hill Cemetery in E. Derry.
