Jill M. Mandeville, 33, of Cape Coral, FL, formerly of Whitman, passed away after an automobile accident in Florida on Thursday October 25th. She was the daughter of Charles T. and Margaret S. Mandeville of Whitman.
Jill grew up in Whitman, was a graduate of Whitman-Hanson Reg. High School Class of 2003, and was also a graduate of Worcester State University, with a degree in Communications Disorder and Sciences. She was the Student Government President for 2 years and a member of Worcester Chorale who performed for the Pope in Poland.
She has lived in Florida for several years and worked for Wee Play Therapy, where she loved working with children and was able to give them a voice, confidence and strength they didn’t know they had.
Jill loved the beach, fishing, reading and spending time with many friends. While she was in school she loved singing, dancing especially ballet and acting.
In addition to her parents, Jill is survived by her brother Brian Mandeville of Whitman, her sister Melissa Bottino and her husband Lou of CA. Jill is also survived by many aunts and uncles and cousins.
Her funeral services will be held on Tuesday November 6th at 11:00AM in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street (Rte. 58 at the rotary circle) Whitman. Burial will follow in the Mt Zion Cemetery, Whitman. Visitation will be on Monday November 5th from 4:00-8:00PM.
