SOMERSET – Angiemae P. (Martin) Cane, age 94 of Somerset, passed away peacefully on Sunday, Oct. 28, 2018 at the Elderwood at Riverside Nursing Care Center in Riverside, RI. Born in Westport, MA, she was the beloved daughter of the late Manuel I. Martin and Mary E. (Ferry) Martin.
Prior to retiring, Angiemae worked as a Clean Wheel Operator for B.A. Ballou Co. Inc., a jewelry manufacturer in E. Providence, RI. She was a longtime parishioner of Saint John of God Church, and loved to go dancing. Her other interests included, Sewing, Knitting, Reading, and Making Puzzles.
Survivors include her daughter: Robin Ramos Costa of North Olmsted, Ohio; her sister: Louise Costa of Somerset; her granddaughter: Rebecca Daniels also of North Olmsted, Ohio; 3 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Angiemae was the sister of the late John, David, James, Manuel, Joseph, Ernest Martin, Alexandria “Lily” Smith, Alice Cordeiro, and Mary Vieira.
Following cremation, a Memorial Mass will be held in St. John of God Church, Brayton Ave., Somerset on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at 10:00 A.M. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the MANUEL ROGERS & SONS FUNERAL HOME, INC. 1521 N. Main St. Fall River.
