HARRINGTON, Joan C. (Davis) of Needham formerly of Dedham, October 27, 2018. Beloved wife of Thomas F. Harrington Jr. Loving mother of Thomas J. Harrington of Boston, Joanne C. Harriman of Pembroke, and David S. Harrington and his wife Anne of Walpole. Grandmother of Charles D., Grace M., and Edward D. Harrington all of Walpole.
Joan was an educator and co-author of “Ability Explorer” and conducted occupational research while living in South Africa, Israel, Jamaica, Australia, and London. Joan’s body has been donated to Harvard Medical School for the purpose of medical education and research.
Visiting hours at the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home, 456 High St., DEDHAM, Friday Nov. 2 from 5-8pm. Memorial Mass in Most Precious Blood Church, 30 Centre St., Dover, Saturday, Nov. 3 at 10am. Relatives and friends kindly invited. In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may be made in Joan’s memory to Most Precious Blood Church.
