Obituary

Harry Klas Seaholm at the age of 95, Harry Klas Seaholm passed on October 27th.
Harry was the loving husband of the late of Laura Prouty Seaholm and son of the late Johann Erik & Karin Liljegren Sjöholm. Born in Småland, Sweden he emigrated to the US at the age of 2 and resided most of his life in Natick.
He is survived by His son Edward, granddaughter Jennifer, grandson Jeremy, 3 great grandchildren, Kayla, Lily & Sarah and brother Ray. He was predeceased by three siblings Carl Seaholm, Sonia Lovejoy and Saga Coleman. He was proud to be known as “Farf” (short for father’s father in Swedish) to his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Harry served as an aviation machinist for the Navy in World War II and the Korean Conflict.
Following his time in the Navy he worked as a prototype machinist for Dennison, Raytheon, Honeywell and most recently Data General, retiring in 1986.
Having been a lifelong member of Christ Lutheran Church, he served as council president, church school superintendent, assisting minister and sang in the choir for many years.
Harry became involved with the Natick VFW in 1994. He served as its’ commander for 14 years and was active in many veterans causes.
He has served Natick and the surrounding communities throughout his life and will be missed by many.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday October 31 from 4 to 8 pm at John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street, Natick, MA 01760. Funeral at Christ Lutheran Church, 113 Union Street, Natick, MA Thursday November 1 at 11:00 A.M. with a gathering following the mass at the Natick VFW Post at 113 W Central St, Natick, MA. Interment services will be private.
Memorial donations may be made to The Christ Lutheran Church Memorial Fund or VFW Post # 1274.
