LEICESTER: Judith A. (Moreau) Giggey, 85, of Leicester, died Friday, Oct. 26th. at St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester surrounded by her loving family.
She leaves her husband of 62 years, Robert L. Giggey, her children; Brad M. Giggey of Leicester, Dana A. Makie and her husband Paul of Leicester, Jay S. Giggey and his wife Ann of Spencer, Bryce R. Giggey of Leicester and Andrea R. Culross and her husband Christopher of Leicester, her sister Jane Moreau Bates of Leicester, 12 grandchildren; Aimee, Neal, Brandon, Andrew, Nikolas, Tristen, Karlee, Alyson, Mitchel, Tatum, Quinn and Jordan, 3 great grandchildren; Jayden, Grace and Amelia, nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by a sister Norma Moreau Macarchuk of Rutland.
Born in Worcester, she was the daughter of Neal and Alice (McClure) Moreau. Judy graduated from Leicester High School where she played half court basketball and played in the drum corp. where she made dear friends whom she still enjoyed getting together with.
Judy was an independent floral designer for several area florist including Green the Florist in Spencer.
She was a founding member of the Leicester Mother's Club and member of the Federated Church of Leicester and Bethany United Christian Parish of Worcester where she made life long friends. She was an avid gardener, enjoyed her work on the family farm and above all her loving family and Dundee.
At her request, funeral services will be private. A memorial gathering will be held at the family's home at a later date to be announced.
