Marion A. (Anningson) Simpson, 88, of Londonderry, NH passed away Friday, October 26, 2018 at Bedford Hills Nursing Center, Bedford, NH. She was born on September 21, 1930 in Somerville, MA, a daughter of the late Joseph Anningson and Emeline (Sherman) Nichols. Marion was actively involved with the Londonderry United Methodist Church where she was a member of the Jubilee women’s group. She enjoyed attending church services and activities. She also enjoyed vacationing in York, ME. Marion loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by one son, Larry Simpson and fiancé Kathleen Fortin, one daughter, Debbie Merowski, eight grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, one sister, Dot Bell, as well as nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a daughter, Kathy Beckwith and her brother Lester Anningson.
A calling hour was held on Tuesday October 30, 2018 from 9 -10am in the Londonderry United Methodist Church, 258 Mammoth Road, Londonderry. Funeral services follwed at 10:00am in the church. A private graveside service was held in Puritan Lawn Cemetery, Peabody, MA. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association, 1661 Worcester Road, Suite 301, Framingham, MA 01701 or to Londonderry United Methodist Church.
