Louis "Papa" J. Grandison of Medford, formerly of Florida, passed on Tuesday, October 23, at home surrounded by his loving family and his beloved Susann after a courageous battle with cancer. Raised in Somerville, he was the son of the late Arthur D. and Virginia C. (O'Keefe) Grandison.
Louis was the dear brother of Pamela Grandison and Deborah Trotta and her husband Robert, all of Medford, and the loving grandfather of Ian C. and Evan B. Allen, both of Florida. He was the loving nephew of De-De Biancucci of Winthrop, and cherished cousin of Connie Manning of California who guided him to Heaven. Louis is also survived by many cousins and friends in Massachusetts and Florida. His family wishes to express their gratitude to his Palmira family for their overwhelming support.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Friday, October 26 at 10 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Raphael Church, 512 High St., Medford, at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Interment will be private. Visiting hours Thursday, October 25 from 4 through 8 PM.
