Andrew Coy Stone, 26, of Florence, South Carolina, passed away Monday, October 22, 2018. His funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 26, 2018, at Central United Methodist Church in Florence, South Carolina. Mr. Stone will be laid to rest at 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 29, 2018, at Eldorado Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday, October 26, 2018, from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of the service at Central United Methodist Church in Florence, South Carolina.
Born in Florence, South Carolina, Mr. Stone was the son of Kenneth C. Stone and Carol Patterson Stone of Florence, South Carolina. He was a member of Central United Methodist Church in Florence, South Carolina. He was a Boy Scout in Troop #475 and became an Eagle Scout in 2010. He was a graduate of West Florence High School in 2010 and a graduate of Florence-Darlington Technical College in 2017. Andrew enjoyed scouting, camping and rock climbing.
Andrew was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Homer and Juanita Patterson and his paternal grandfather, Cleo Stone.
In addition to his parents, Andrew is survived by a brother, Daniel Stone of Livermore, California; and his paternal grandmother, Doris Stone of Tifton.
