Carlton Azer Hinson, 60, of Enigma passed away Monday, October 22, 2018, at his residence. A graveside service will be held for Mr. Hinson at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 24, 2018, at Turner Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Enigma, where he will be laid to rest. The Rev. Marvin Williams will officiate. The family will receive friends Tuesday, October 23, 2018, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Tommy Flanders, Hal McMillan, Anthony Barnes, Cory Flanders, Anthony Aultman and Mike Funderburke will serve as pallbearers.
Born July 15, 1958 in Ocilla, Mr. Hinson was the son of the late Azer Hinson and Betty Sue Sapp Hinson. He was a self-employed welder and machinist.
Mr. Hinson is survived by his wife, Susan Thomas Hinson of Enigma; three sons and daughters-in-law, Matthew and Jennifier Hinson and David and Nichole Keen, all of Enigma and Anthony and Rose Keen; one brother and sister-in-law, Roger Dale and LaDonna Hinson of Enigma; and nine grandchildren, Hunter Hinson, Kendall Hinson, Luke Hinson, Austin Wilson, Levi Keen, Lexie Keen, Lilliana Keen, Gabriel Keen and Harley Keen.
