New Bedford– Eva Vazquez, age 49, of New Bedford passed away on Friday, October 19, 2018 at St. Luke’s Hospital. She was the beloved wife of Jose Vazquez and the daughter of the late Carlos M. and Rosalie (Mauro) Figueroa.
Eva was born in Framingham, MA and had been a loving homemaker to her family.
She is survived by her husband, Jose; children, Natasha Figueroa, Luis Sanjuro, Shaunna Lopez, Jose Vazquez and Angilee Cruz; grandchildren, Elisabeth Erazo, Jasiel Erazo, Rosalie Mathews, Julian Vazquez, Evaunna Mathews and Maylanie Erazo; sisters, Rose M. Figueroa, Maria I. Matos, Martha Figueroa and Georgina Mascis; brothers, Carlos Figueroa, Pablo Figueroa, Joel Figueroa, David Figueroa, Isaac Matos and Moses Matos; as well as several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. She was also the sister of the late Paul Mauro.
Eva’s visiting hours will be held Thursday evening from 5:00-8:00 P.M. at Perry Funeral Home. Her funeral will be held Friday morning, beginning in the funeral home at 9:30 A.M. with a service at 10:30 A.M. Burial will immediately follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
