Mrs. Jeanette M. (Gonsalves) Ramos of Atlanta, Georgia went to heaven on Sunday October 7, 2018 at the age of 94. She was the beloved wife of the late Alberto L. Ramos.
Born in New Bedford, MA, she was the daughter of the late Mrs. Louise Lopes Miranda and Joseph Tavares Gonsalves. As a little girl, she resided on Acushnet Avenue in New Bedford.
Jeanette was the devoted mother of five daughters, Sharon Ramos Neil, Alberta Ramos jr., Louise Ramos Gore, Jeanette Ramos jr., and Tara Ramos. Jeanette was blessed with 16 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and her brothers, Jerome and James.
Her Memorial Service will be held on Saturday October 27, 2018 at 10 AM at the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery. For directions and guestbook, please visit www.saundersdwyer.com.
