Obituary

Francis X. Bradley, Jr. of Woburn, formerly of Medford, passed away peacefully October 13, 2018, at the VA Boston Hospice Unit in Brockton. "Fran" as he was affectionately known to family and friends, was the beloved husband of 35 years to the late Margaret A. (Killilea) Bradley. Born in Stoneham, Fran was one of six children of the late Francis X. Bradley and Mary Rose (Powers) Bradley of Medford.

Fran graduated from Arlington Catholic in 1971, attending Boston University, Northeastern, and UMass Boston before enlisting in the United States Navy in 1974 serving until his honorable discharge in 1980. An electrician by trade, Fran worked at Boston Edison/NSTAR for many years, never having a shortage of side projects to showcase his woodworking, tiling and painting skills. An avid reader, classic rock enthusiast, and fantastic cook (designated taste tester of all his daughters` baked goods); there was nothing Fran enjoyed more than grilling a medium-rare steak with Led Zeppelin blaring from the radio.

Fran is survived by his devoted children: Ryin Noelle Bradley and her Fiancé Shane Masotta, Kimberly Ann Gullage and her husband Mike Melaragni, and Ron Gullage, all of Woburn. Loving grandfather of Devan Gullage of Woburn and the late Keith Pieper. Brother of Patricia M. Bradley and husband Robert O`Brien of Orleans, Joyce A. Jones and husband Charles of Medford, John C. Bradley and wife Joanne of Melrose - predeceased by sisters Mary M. Bradley and Helen B. Bradley, both of Medford. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, other "daughter" Lisa Von Fritzinger of Woburn, and many loving family members and friends.
