Adeline P. (Silvia) Rapoza, 80, of New Bedford died October 16, 2018 unexpectedly at St. Luke's Hospital.
She was the wife of the late John F. Rapoza.
Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Joseph Silvia and Marie B. (John) Perry, she lived in New Bedford all of her life.
She was formerly employed by St. Luke's Hospital for many years until her retirement.
Survivors include 2 sons, John D. Rapoza and his wife Lucy of Florida and Kenneth J. Rapoza and his wife Laura of New Bedford; a daughter, Karen A. Fowle and her husband Dennis of Florida; 6 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren.
She was the sister of the late Joseph Silvia.
Her Funeral will be held on Monday, October 22nd at 10 AM from the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford, followed by her Funeral Mass at Holy Name of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church at 11 AM. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery. Visiting hours will be on Sunday, October 21st from 4-8 PM.
