WEBSTER –Mary E. (Martin) Mason, 59, of 5 Mason Lane, died Friday, Dec. 9, at home after a long illness.
She leaves a daughter, Jennifer E. Maisto and her husband Michael A. of Webster; a son, Jonathon P. Mason and his wife Carolyn M. of Woodstock, CT; her fiancé, Richard G. Buccelli of Southbridge; her father, Robert E. Martin of West Yarmouth; 3 sisters, Ellen Brassard and Barbara Rocket, both of Framingham, and Lenore Lauro of Brewster; 3 grandchildren, Bradley Maisto, Jessica Mason and Kathryn Mason; nieces and nephews.
She was born in Corpus Christi, Texas, a daughter of the late Mary (Brennan) Martin. She was raised in East Longmeadow and lived in Webster over 35 years. She graduated from Cathedral High School in Springfield and from the Memorial Hospital School of Nursing as a registered nurse.
She worked for over 20 years at Hubbard Regional Hospital. She was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church.
The funeral will be held Saturday, Dec. 17, from Scanlon Funeral Service, East Main St., with a Mass at 10:00 AM in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 16 East Main St. Calling hours are from 5:00 to 8:00 PM Friday, Dec. 16, in the funeral home.
