Obituary

Bradley Bowen, 56, died unexpectedly on Sunday, October 14th. He is survived by his wife, Trudy Kappeler, his parents Mary Bowen and David Bergstrom, and his two daughters, Stacey Bowen and Amy Girard, and son-in-law Justin Girard. Bradley is also survived by his brother Brian Bowen, and 4 sisters, Beverly Gionet, Brenda Chalecki, Beth Jepsen, Betty Weseman, and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Bradley started his career working long hours at the old paper mill in Baltic, Connecticut. He later was able to advance his career and become an Iron Worker for the Local Union 15 out of Hartford. He worked for Hartland Building and Restoration Company for 17 years. For the last few years, Bradley was a General Iron Worker Superintendent. He ran many large, complicated projects for Hartland and was a very talented and respected worker.

Bradley was a devoted father, husband, and a big family man. He was a handy man and an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing. He loved spending summer weekends by the pool swimming and grilling with his family. Bradley was always the life of the party and first on the dance floor. He was always willing to help anyone in need, regardless of how big or small of a task.

As he wished, there will not be any service or visitation hours. Instead, his family has decided to have a celebration of life to honor him. If you would like to attend and have not received any details, please reach out to his immediate family for information.
