Joseph A. DiLorenzo, 83, of Briar Hill Drive, Cranston passed on Thursday, October 11, 2018. He was the beloved husband of Barbara F. (Faella) DiLorenzo. They had been married for 64 years.
Born in Providence, a son of the late Evelyn (Rossi) DiLorenzo. He had lived in Cranston previously living in North Providence.
Joseph had been a self employed tile and marble Contractor for most of his life. During his twenties, Joseph was a member of the National Guard.
He was an avid fan of boxing, tennis, and college football, and had a love for opera and musicals. He had a zest for life and a passion for food, being extremely proud of his Italian heritage.
Joseph will always be remembered as the greatest presence in the room with a smile on his face.
Besides his wife he leaves three children, six grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday at 10am in Mary Mother of Mankind Church, 25 Fourth Street, North Providence. Visitation Monday 4-7pm will be held on Monday, October 15, 2018 in the Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville.
