Geneva Swails Hall, 90, of Tifton passed away Saturday, October 13, 2018, at her residence. Her funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Monday, October 15, 2018, at Community Church in Brookfield with the Rev. Robert Beggs officiating. Moranda Eagleton will give a eulogy. Mrs. Hall will be laid to rest at Oaky Grove Church Cemetery in Berrien County. The family will receive friends Sunday, October 14, 2018, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Mrs. Hall will be placed in the church one hour prior to the service.
Mrs. Hall’s grandsons and great-grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
Born October 25, 1927 in Enigma, Mrs. Hall was the daughter of the late John B. Swails and Lovie Luke Swails. She was also preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. Nathan Lee Hall; five brothers, Albert Swails, J. W. Swails, L. J. Swails, Bennie Lee Swails and Alonzo Swails; five sisters, Lougene Cooper, Audrey McCurdy, Clara Aultman, Jewel Nelms and Imogene Swails; one granddaughter; and one great-granddaughter. She graduated from Enigma High School and attended Albany Business College. She was a homemaker and a member of Community Church in Brookfield.
Mrs. Hall is survived by her children and their spouses, Timoth and Mary Hall, Pamela and Robert Beggs, Kay and Lynn Shaw, Martha Hall and Ronnie and Judy Hall, all of Tifton; one sister, Betty Goode of Enigma; 15 grandchildren; 32 great- grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren.
