Fall River – Christine L. (Da Roza) Cabral, 86, of Fall River, formerly of New Bedford passed away October 11, 2018 at Southpointe Rehab. and Skilled Nursing Center. She was the widow of Armand Cabral.
Mrs. Cabral was born in Acushnet, daughter of the late John and Lillie (Holden) Da Roza, and resided in New Bedford most of her life. She was employed as a Health Aide by Southeastern Mass. Home Health Aides, Fall River until her retirement. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of V.F.W. Post 6643, Freetown. She enjoyed reading and loved her cats.
Survivors include her daughter: Donna M. Crossley and her husband, David of Johnston, RI; her son: Raymond D. Cabral and his wife Lucille of St. Cloud, FL; a brother: Donald Da Roza of FL; 3 grandchildren: Bradford J. Reilly of New Bedford, Raymond D. Cabral II and his wife, Bobbi Anne of Ft. Drum, NY and Christopher J. Cabral and his wife Stephanie of St. Cloud, FL; 5 great-grandchildren; many beloved nieces & nephews; and her many friends at Melville Towers. She was sister of the late William Da Roza and Barbara Ferreira.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours at the Kirby Funeral Home, 61 Tarkiln Hill Road, New Bedford on Tuesday, October 16, 2018, 5:00-7:00 P.M. Funeral will be private.
