Mary “Susie” Evans Clements, 76, of Tifton passed away Thursday, October 11, 2018, at Tift Regional Medical Center. A graveside funeral service will be held for Mrs. Clements at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at Abba Baptist Church Cemetery in Irwin County, where she will be laid to rest. The Rev. Ben Bryant will officiate. The family will receive friends Monday, October 15, 2018, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Steven Williford, Neil Clements, H. L. Adams, Bill Tangerano, Steve English and Keith Stone will serve as pallbearers.
Born January 14, 1942 in Ben Hill County, Mrs. Clements was the daughter of the late Ralph Evans and Vertie Parks Evans. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Inez Fitzgerald and Nancy Fitzgerald; and three brothers, Pete Evans, Tommy Evans and Kirk Evans. Before retiring, she was a receptionist at Tift Regional Medical Center. She loved to cook and was a hard worker and committed to giving care to others. She was a member of Salem Baptist Church in Ben Hill County.
Mrs. Clements is survived by her husband, W. E. Clements of Tifton; and one sister, Dot Bryan of Florida.
