Charles A. Cooper, 93, of Derry, NH, died Thursday, October 11, 2018, at Catholic Medical Center, Manchester, NH. He was born in Derry, NH on April 19, 1925, a son of Francis and Margaret (Sullivan) Cooper and had been a life-long resident of Derry. Charles proudly served his country as a member of the US Army. He enjoyed horse and dog racing, playing cards and trips to the condo in Florida. He adored his garden and was immensely proud of his 'super tomatoes.' Charles loved life and was a devoted family man who always put those he loved first.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 65 years, Doris Cooper; son, Charles M. Cooper; three grandchildren, Jason, Aimee and Shaun; five great grandchildren; brother, William; sister, Irene and many nieces and nephews.
Following cremation, a Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, October 19, 2018 at 11:00am in St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 26 Crystal Avenue, Derry. The burial followed at the NH State Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Hwy., Boscawen, NH at 1:00pm.
