David W. Smith
Manchester– David W. Smith, 65, died October 08, 2018 at his home following a lengthy illness.
He was born in Bridgeport, CT on July 29, 1953 the son of David S and Elizabeth J. Smith.
He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy.
Prior to his retirement he worked for Mast Road Lumber.
He held membership in the Workman’s Club.
He was predeceased by his wife, Jean M. Driscoll on October 5, 2012.
Family members include one son, Donald J. Driscoll, one daughter, Janine Driscoll, both of Manchester, five grandchildren; Liam, Logan, Caleb, Anthony, AvaJean, one sister; Susan Smith of Naugatuck, CT., and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial reception will take place on Monday, October 15, 2018 from 5 to 7 pm at J. N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home, 110 Bridge St. A service of remembrance will take place at 6:30 pm during the reception.
Committal prayers with military honors will be held on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at 2pm in NH Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen.
