BRADBURY Doreen E. (Hallock) Longtime resident of Dedham passed away on October 6, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of the late James Bradbury. Devoted mother of Jeanne A. Bradbury-Thoman and her husband Joseph Thoman, of NH., Diane Doyle and her husband Michael of NY., James Bradbury Jr. and his companion Fely Nadany of Dedham, and the late Gail O’Connell and her surviving husband John of Dedham. Loving grandmother of Shannon, Brian, Jenna, Keryn, Jillian, Lisa, Johnny, and James III, and great-grandmother of 12 (and one on the way). Sister of Edward Hallock and his wife Mary of MD. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Graduate of New England Deaconess Hospital School of Nursing. Doreen worked for the Dedham Visiting Nurses for many years. Member of the Dedham VFW Post #2017, Ladies Auxiliary, the Dedham American Legion Post #18, Ladies Auxiliary and the Dedham High School Boosters Club.
Visiting hours at the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home 456 High St. Dedham on Thursday, October 11th from 4-8pm. Funeral from the funeral home on Friday, October 12th at 9:30am, followed by a Funeral Service at The Church Of The Good Shepherd, 62 Cedar St., Dedham at 10:30am.
