Kathleen S. “Kaye” Nugent, 77, of Derry, NH, passed away Friday October 5, 2018, at the Elliot Hospital in Manchester, NH. She was born in E. Derry, NH on January 10, 1941, a daughter of the late James and Doris (Ramsdell) Sutton. She was a lifelong resident of Derry.
Kaye was a former Assistant Vice President of the Bank of New Hampshire, after retirement, she worked at Emery Eye Center and volunteered at Vintage Grace in Derry. She was a Past President and member of the Derry Garden Club and member of the Hannah Dustin Quilt Guild. She was also a lifetime member of the Ladies Auxiliary VFW Post 1617 in Derry. She was also a member of the friends of the Derry Public Library.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 61 years, Frederick Nugent of Derry; two sons, Michael Nugent of Londonderry, and Mark Nugent and wife Lisa of Keene, NH; one daughter, Sheryl Levesque and husband Will of Derry; four grandchildren, Michelle Thomas, Amanda Romano, Katelyn and Matthew Nugent; two great grandchildren, Jared and Isabella Romano; one brother, James Sutton and wife Vicky of Andover, MA; sister, Sally Sutton of Londonderry; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours were held on October 9, 2018 from 10am to 12pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry. A funeral service followed at 12:00pm in the funeral home with cremation tofollow. Interment will be at a later date in Pleasant View Cemetery, Mammoth Road, Londonderry.
