In Taunton, October 4, 2018, Eva May (Dufresne) Rocha wife of the late Leonard Rocha died at Marion Manor Nursing Home at the age of 90 surrounded by her loving family. Born and educated in Brockton, Eva was the daughter of the late Edmond and Etta Mary (Avery) Dufresne. Eva worked at the Cordo Hyde Shoe Co in Brockton, the family restaurant Leonard’s of Norton from 1968-1977 and O’Brien’s Restaurant in Norton. Eva was a devoted, caring and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, reading, strawberry and blueberry picking, discussion of politics and religion, watching professional golf and vacationing in the White Mountains at their cabin and with her daughters at Disney World. She is survived by her four children: Karen Charette and her husband George of Mattapoisett, Paula Dennen and her husband Stephen of Taunton, Gregory Rocha of Taunton and his wife Cindy of Berkley and Susan Rocha and her husband William Crosier of Pembroke. Grandmother of Dawnne Green and her husband Brendan of Georgia, Jarrod Rocha and his wife Kattie of North Attleboro, Melissa Johnson, Nathan Rocha, Derek Dennen all of Taunton and Chloe Charette of Florida. Great grandmother of five. Sister of the late Florence Mahan, Blanche, Edmond and Gerald Dufresne, Evangeline Landry, Louis and George Dufresne, Beatrice Muniz, Louise, Richard, Albert and John Dufresne. She also leaves many cousins, nieces, nephews and in-laws. Funeral from the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home 70 Washington Street in Taunton Tuesday October 9th at 10 am. A Mass will be held at St Anthony’s Church in Taunton at 11 am. Calling hours will be held on Monday from 4-7 pm. Interment St Joseph Cemetery in Taunton.
