Mrs. Theo G. Sykes, 72, of Burlington, NC passed away at her residence on Monday, May 7, 2018. She was born in Berlin, NH on July 25, 1945 the daughter of the late Norman and Avis (Morel) Oleson. Theo retired as a Medical Administrator from the VA Hospital in Fayetteville, NC. She attended the True Light Baptist Church in Gibsonville for many years.
Members of the family include her husband of 46 years Larry J. Sykes, Sr; son Larry J. Sykes, Jr and his wife Jennifer; daughter Candace Mary Edmiston and husband Tom; step son Chad D. Sykes and his wife Marie; step-daughter Kimberly Sykes Freeman and husband Matthew; nine grandchildren; four great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Graveside Service will be held at the Russian City Cemetery in Berlin, NH on Wednesday October 10, 2018 at 10am. Local arrangements have been entrusted to Bryant Funeral Homes, Berlin & Gorham, NH. Messages of condolence may be left online at www.bryantfuneralhome.net.
