Obituary

Patricia A. (Weaver) Currul, 71, of Medway, affectionately referred to as “Pat” passed away peacefully in her home on Thursday, October 4, 2018, after a brave battle against cancer.

Left to cherish her memories are her devoted spouse of 31 years, James P. Choiniere; her five loving children Frank Currul, Jr., Jeffrey Currul, Brandon Currul, Melissa McDonald, and Amiee Charlton; daughters-in-law Denise Currul and Melinda Currul; son-in-law Christopher Charlton, and her 15 grandchildren who filled her heart with immeasurable love and pride.

She is also survived by her sister Barbara Dolan and her partner Cindy Koch of Holyoke, her former spouse Frank E. Currul of N. Attleboro, and was predeceased by her sister Marianne DelConte.

Born in Boston on April 19, 1947, she was the daughter of the late True and Mary Barbara (Becker) Weaver.

Pat grew up in Milton and graduated from Fontbonne Academy. She moved to Weymouth where she resided until moving to Medway in 1978.

Pat was a homemaker for most of her life and invested her life in her children. She later became a caregiver to her own mother and her grandchildren, a role she cherished. She found true happiness in giving to others. Pat also had a strong work ethic and was a natural-born entrepreneur where she and her mother, Barbara, started their own business in the late 1980’s and owned a successful travel agency in Medway, C & W Travel.

Pat was an outdoor enthusiast who loved to travel, go hiking, boating, camping, snowmobiling and was a member of the NHSA. Pat was the life of every party and lived life to the fullest. She also enjoyed spending time at her vacation home in New Hampshire.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Mass at St. Joseph Church, 151 Village St. in Medway on Wednesday, October 10 at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at the North Weymouth Cemetery in North Weymouth.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 6 - 8 p.m. in the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home, 3 Barber St. in Medway (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com).
