SOMERSET – Michael Wayne Oliveira, age 63 of Somerset, passed away Thursday, Oct. 4, 2018 peacefully at home. He was the son of the late Dennis & Shirley J. (Haggerty) Oliveira. Prior to retiring, Mike worked for Harodite Industries Inc. in Dighton, MA. And he was an avid fisherman in his spare time.
He is survived by his son: Joshua Michael Oliveira of Swansea; his grandson: Joshua Michael Oliveira Jr.; two sisters: Sandra Souza of Fall River & Nancy Fournier of Somerset; several nieces & nephews.
His funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on Wednesday, Oct. 10 here at 10:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Patrick’s Church, South St., Somerset at 11:00 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick Cemetery, Fall River. Calling hours Tuesday, Oct. 9 from 5-8 P.M.
