Daphne K. “Becky” (Vose) Kanevski, age 77, of Middleboro, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 after a long struggle with cancer. She was married for over 50 years to the late David A. Kanevski, the love of her life. Born and raised in Brockton, she was the daughter of the late George and Julia (Bislarides) Vose. Daphne was a graduate of Curry College and worked locally as a dental assistant and for Kanevski Construction. Daphne was a kind, passionate and creative woman who enjoyed ceramics, painting and calligraphy. She took enormous pride in her flowers. Later in life she spent hours completing intricate puzzles and bird watching. Becky was an avid New England Sports fan, especially watching the Red Sox and Patriots with her family.
She is survived by her devoted children, Dyana C. Bogdan and her husband John and Gregory D. Kanevski and his wife Tara both of Mansfield, her brother George A. Vose and his wife Kathy of Plymouth, and four grandchildren Julia, David, Caroline and Nicholas.
She will forever be remembered for her strength and dignity in times of intense struggle.
Visiting hours will be held Monday, October 8, from 3-7 p.m. in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte. 123) Brockton. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home Tuesday October 9 at 10 a.m. followed by internment at Pine Hill Cemetery, West Bridgewater.
