RUTLAND-Timothy M. O’Connor, 34, passed away Thursday, December 8 at home. He leaves the mother of his children, Joanne Swift, two daughters, Briana and Brooke O’Connor, a step son, Benjamin Roberge all of Rutland, his companion, Sherri Murphy with whom he lived, his parents, John R. and Catherine E. (Dowd) O’Connor, two sisters, Colleen F., wife of Peter E. Griffin and Kerri A., wife of Joseph DiPietro, maternal grandmother, Winifred Hammerberg all of Worcester, and nephews.
He was born in Worcester, attended St. Peter Marian C.C.H.S. and served two years in the U.S. Army. Timothy was a self-employed painter for many years and was an avid fisherman.
The funeral will be Monday, December 12 with a Mass at 10:00 AM in Blessed Sacrament Church, 555 Pleasant Street, Worcester. Burial will be private. Visiting hours are Sunday, December 11 from 2:00 until 5:00pm in CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle Street, Worcester.
