Priscilla (Farley) Smith passed peacefully on October 2, 2018 at the age of 97. She was the daughter of the late Ruth (Howe) and Leonard Washburn Farley; wife of 54 years of the late William G. Smith; Mother of Cynthia Shearstone of Taunton and Suzanne Davis of Mashpee; Grandmother of Jeff Shearstone and his wife Theresa Jacobs of Framingham; Jenna and her husband Wade Vagias of Hailey, Idaho; Sarah Davis and her wife Heather Schaller of Madison, WI; Amy Davis of Cotuit; and Tom and his wife Erin of Steamboat Springs, CO; Great grandmother of Brooke Vagias, Liam Shearstone, Frances Schaller-Davis, Henry and Felicity Davis.
Mrs. Smith attended House in the Pines in Norton, Lincoln School in East Providence, Stoneleigh Junior College in Rye Beach, New Hampshire, Bristol County Business School and Miss Farmer’s School in Boston. She was a charter member of the Junior Women’s Club and the MSPCC. She attended and enjoyed “Great Decisions” for 5 years.
Mrs. Smith enjoyed traveling especially in Europe, South America, the West Coast, Alaska, the Caribbean Islands and Canada. Her interests were family, friends and reading. Arrangements are under the care of the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St., Taunton, MA 02780. Donations in Priscilla’s memory may be made to the charity of your choice. Services will be private at the request of the family at a later date.
