FALL RIVER – Ceasar “Chuck” Braga, of Fall River, age 86, passed away peacefully at home after a courageous battle with cancer on October 2, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Elaine (Candeias) Braga. Born in Fall River, he was the son of the late Francisco and Irene (Duarte) Braga. He was a caring, generous and devoted husband, father and grandfather. Chuck served proudly in the U.S. Army, “Screaming Eagles” Airborne, 101st for 22 years. He was respectfully a member of the DAV, Disabled American Veterans. Chuck was also an owner of Fall River Skydiving Center and C&E Industries, Inc. in Fall River.
He was the loving father of Juliette Braga-Holt and Dr. Charles R. Braga. He leaves two grandchildren whom he adored, Jacob E. Braga and Emma R. Holt; as well as several nieces and nephews.
His funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on Friday here at 9 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial Good Shepherd Church at 10 A.M. Interment in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours on Thursday from 4-7 P.M. www.rogersfuneral.com.
