Nikisha Laurel Falcone, 21, of Franklin, MA died unexpectedly Sunday September 30, 2018.
Born in Jinhau China February 8, 1997, daughter of Vincent J. Falcone and the late Tracy L. Falcone of Franklin, MA.
She is survived by her sister Kiarra Falcone.
Nikisha, a 2015 graduate of Franklin High School was a senior at the University of Vermont majoring in Psychology with a minor in Linguistics (ASL). She was actively involved in many aspects of UVM. She was a lead Resident Assistant, an orientation leader, community advisor, ASL club board member, personal care assistant and ambassador for Universal Studios and served on the University Program Board.
She threw javelin as a member of the university’s Varsity Track & Field team.
Nikisha loved her family/friends, traveling, UVM, the Green Mountains of Vermont, Snowboarding, exploring the outdoors, being unique, art, photography, pugs, Dunkin Donuts and just bringing happiness to so many.
She studied mixed martial arts and earned a black belt Tae Kwon Do.
She was loved by all and will be sorely missed.
Her viewing will be held on Sunday, October 7th from 4:00 – 8:00 PM at Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin ( www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) 131 Main Street, Franklin MA.
Her funeral will be held on Monday, October 8th, 2018 at 9:15 AM followed by a funeral mass at St. Joseph’s Church, Medway at 10:00 AM.
All are invited to join the family after the funeral service. Location TBA.
Burial will be private.
