Stanley A. “Starcz” Luchka, III, passed away peacefully, Monday, October 1, 2018 surrounded by his family. He turned 45 last week.
Born in Providence, he was the beloved son of Stanley A. Luchka, Jr. and Beverly A. (Burghardt) Luchka of Johnston. Stan lived in Johnston for 30 years and had previously lived in North Scituate for 15 years.
Stan was the owner of the former Stoney Meadow Trucking Company for 8 years. He worked for Howard G. Bishop, Inc. in Scituate. Stan was a diligent and hard-working man. He always had a kind smile and a handshake for everyone he met. He loved life, his family and friends, trucks and the Farm.
Besides his parents he is survived by his three beloved children, Kaylee A. Luchka, Sarah E. Luchka and Jacob A. Luchka, his beloved sisters, Brenda L. Frederickson and her husband, Howard of Scituate and Katherine E. Zahansky and her husband, Mark of Foster and his cat, Mittens, who cuddled and kept him company.
The family extends a special thank you to Howard Bishop, Stan’s employer, for all his help and kindness to Stan and his family.
A Mass of Christian Burial to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Friday at 10am in St. Joseph Church, Danielson Pike at the Corner of 116, Scituate. Visitation Thursday 4-7pm in the Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home, Rt 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Burial will be in St. Ann’s Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
