George W. “Glen” Glendenning, 81, of Derry, NH, died Thursday September 27, 2018, in Parkland Medical Center, Derry. He was born in Buffalo, NY on May 19, 1937, a son of George and Hazel (Paschka) Glendenning. George worked for many years for the State of New York, later moving to NH and was employed for several years with Master Halco as a stationary engineer. George loved dancing especially when wearing his cowboy boots and hat. He was a great story-teller, enjoyed carpentry work and spending some time fishing.
He is survived by his wife of 18 years Karen (Flood) Glendenning; six children; six step-children; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; two brothers and two sisters.
Following cremation, calling hours were held on Saturday, October 6th from 1 - 3pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
