Obituary

Kermit Glen House, 76, of Chesterfield, died peacefully on Saturday, September 29, 2018 surrounded by his family.

He was born on September 15, 1942 in Elwood, Indiana, the son of Virgil Glen and Marjorie Fern (Fesler) House. He was employed as a lead service technician of transformer installation and engineering solutions, working 27 years for Westinghouse, 9 years for ABB and 18 years as a Sub Contractor for TIES . Prior to that he worked at the Madison County Garage.

Kermit enjoyed sprint cars, as a racing fan, driver, owner and builder. He enjoyed fishing and was an avid sports fan of his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was a self proclaimed chef.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Ginger, whom he married November 7, 1961; his five children; Jeffrey (Vicky) House of Indianapolis, Tray (Sierra) House of Middletown, Cary (Deanna) House of Anderson, Jay (Kim) House of Daleville, and Camela (Jeff) Chambers of Chesterfield; 11 grandchildren, Zaney Sears, Tara House, Dylan Saylers, Cole House, Benjamin House, Kyle House, Chelsey Sizemore, Justin Chambers, Mackenzie Bell, Cody House, and Fletcher House; and 17 great grandchildren; Brother, Bill House of Texas; and his buddies from Fisherman's Cove.

Kermit was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Allen and a granddaughter, Daisy.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Oct 3, 2018 at 6:00 PM at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service lead by his grandson, Cole House.

Visitation will be held from 4-6 PM prior to the funeral on Wednesday.
Memorial contributions may be given to Juvenile Diabetes.
