Sandra M. (Locklin) Haltom 77, of Franklin, died peacefully, with family at her side Sunday September 30, 2018 at the Medway Country Manor, following a long illness. She was the wife of the late David L. Haltom.
Born December 11, 1940, in Milford, a daughter of the late Onsville and Annie C. (Rabbette) Locklin, she was a longtime Franklin resident.
She was raised and educated in Franklin and was a 1959 graduate of Franklin High School. Sandra worked for Eastern Container in Franklin for many years before retiring.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, and often assisted her friends and neighbors at Central Park Terrace, with shopping and taking them to their appointments.
Sandra is survived by her children, Cheryl A. Plumeau of Manchester, NH, June M. Mullett and her husband Gordon of Franklin, Pamela J. O’Brien and her husband John of Franklin and Mary A. DeSouza and her husband Laisson of Oxford.
Also surviving are her grandchildren, Amanda Bassignani-Parrish and her husband Nick of Bellingham, Amy & Michael O’Brien of Franklin, and step grandchildren Josh & Jesse Mullett of North Attleboro.
She was the sister of the late Kenneth Locklin, Joanne Eisner, James Locklin, Warren Locklin, and Barbara Dunlap.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service Wednesday Oct. 3rd, at 10AM in the Charles F. Oteri and Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St.
Her interment will be held privately.
Calling hours are Tuesday from 4-8PM.
