Paul A. Jodice, 77, a retired administrator and coach with Medford Public Schools, passed away Friday at the Massachusetts General Hospital surrounded by his loving family.
Born and raised in Medford, he was the son of the late Patrick and Adeline (Reppucci) Jodice. After graduating from Medford High School, Paul went on to receive his Bachelor’s degree at Northeastern University and later his Masters of Education at Boston State College. Paul enjoyed a long career in Medford Public Schools, in the class room, administration, coaching tennis and freshman hockey. Tennis was one of his passions in life. He was great at it and continued to play, well into his seventies. He was a good father, husband, grandfather. He enjoyed time with his family and many friends.
Paul was the beloved husband of Mary Ellen (Malloy) Jodice, the devoted father of Marybeth Jodice of South Boston and Paul A. Jodice Jr. and his wife Beth of Southport, CT. He was the loving grandfather of Danielle and Patrick. Paul was a dear brother to Elena McGreal of Medford and her late husband Cornelius, and Robert Jodice and his wife Susanne of Lynnfield.
His funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Wednesday October 3rd at 10:30 AM. Followed by a Funeral Mass celebrated in St. Raphael Church, 512 High Street, Medford, at 11:30 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Tuesday 4 - 8 PM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
