Carolyn J. (Davis) Gauthier, 74, died peacefully on September 26, 2018 due to complications from the return of cancer.
Born July 2, 1944, in Charlton, MA. where she lived most of her life, she spent her last years in Port Charlotte, FL. Enjoying retirement with her partner Michael Drake.
Carolyn owned a hair salon in Worcester in her early years, she was a purchasing and sales manager at Chess King in Worcester and will be most remembered for her work with the elderly as Activities Director for Christopher Heights in Webster when she retired in 2006.
Carolyn enjoyed traveling, dancing, singing and York Beach, ME. She had a strong interest in family ties and ancestry. She spent years researching and documenting descendents. She enjoyed sharing facts and talking about relatives and took pride in her deep family roots.
She was predeceased by her former husbands; Paul A. Brassard and Daniel Gauthier and both parents Gordon E. Davis and Barbara J. (Leland) Davis.
She leaves her partner Michael Drake of Port Charlotte, FL., her sister Candace Tanne of Conshohocken, PA., and brother Everett Davis of CT., two sons; Carl ‘Chip’ Holmberg formerly of Shrewsbury and Pepper Brassard of Charlton, a daughter; Kathleen Seifert of Sturbridge.
Carolyn loved all her nieces and cousins and grandchildren; Shay Holmberg, Tyler Brassard, Brooke, Danielle, Nicole and Natalie Cadarette, Paul and Sean Konkol. She also had a special place in her heart for hergreat grandson Maxx.

A Memorial Service to honor Carolyn will be Thursday, October 4, 2018 at 10 AM at North Cemetery, Main St. (Route 12) in Oxford, MA. The ROBERT J. MILLER-CHARLTON FUNERAL HOME, 175 Old Worcester Rd. is honored to be assisting Carolyn’s family with arrangements.
