Mike McDaniel, 59, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Wednesday, September 26, 2018, at Tift Regional Medical Center, in Tifton, Georgia.
Graveside services will be held 3 PM, Friday, September 28, 2018, at the Evergreen Cemetery, in Fitzgerald, with the Rev. Dr. Lloyd Stembridge and the Rev. Jeff Parmer officiating. The family will receive friends from 2 PM until the service hour at the funeral home in Fitzgerald.
Mr. McDaniel was born September 27, 1958, in Fitzgerald, Georgia, to Billy Randall McDaniel and Betty Frances Paul Hall. He lived in St. Augustine, Florida until the last couple of years and was owner and operator of McDaniel Construction. He enjoyed fishing, yard work, visiting with friends and making people laugh. Mr. McDaniel was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his mother, Betty Hall of Fitzgerald; father, Randy McDaniel of Cartersville; a son, Michael Anthony McDaniel, Jr. of St. Augustine, Florida; a brother, Stephen Allen McDaniel of St. Augustine, Florida, as well as his former wife, Star McDaniel of Cartersville. Several aunt, uncles and cousins also survive.
